Kate grew up owning horses and undertook all the care they needed on her own from the age of 10. She was a US Pony Club Member and competed in three-phase eventing and show jumping. Her favorite competitions were not the ones in which she rode, but the ones in which she was stable manager - job at which she excelled.
She also held a Washington State Falconry license for a number of years and caught, trained, hunted with and hacked out several red-tailed hawks. She grew up with her father's red-tail, Nancy, for the first 18 years of her life, and spent 6 months living in Wales and working on a farm and breeding facility for falcons and birds of prey which were trained to hunt corvids from horseback. She helped incubate and feed baby falcons, assisted in artificial insemination, telemetry tracking of the juvenile birds, exercising and caring for the horses, collecting eggs from the flock of quails and many other farm tasks.
Kate has had a menagerie of pets over the years. Multitudes of cats and dogs, a turtle, frogs, rats, fish tanks, hawks, horses, and even a cow.
She managed a petting farm one summer in Everett, WA that had pigs, goats, lambs, ponies, rabbits, chickens, turkeys, and alpacas.

Private Dog Walks Tailored to Your Needs and Your Dogs': We offer both one-time dog walks for those times when you need some back up dog care because you're away temporarily, and recurring, daily walks to get your dogs out every day while you are at work or any schedule of your choosing. We even accept same-day requests subject to availability.
